• The centre is not licensed to care for your child outside of the opening hours. A penalty of $30 will be charged if you fail to collect your child outside licensed hours.
• Children must be enrolled for a minimum of 2 days a week with a daily minimum of 6 hours.
• A minimum of 2 weeks' notice is required for any booking changes and un-enrolment.
• We offer 20 ECE hours for all children over 3 years old enrolled at our centre. Children can receive up to 6 hours per day, to a maximum of 20 hours per week free. Entitlement ceases after 3 weeks continuous absence.
• Failure to keep fees up to date may result in a child's enrolment being forfeited and the debt being passed on to a debt collection agency, for which the parent will be responsible for any associated costs incurred.
• Fees are to be paid for 52 weeks per year. Fees are required regardless of statutory holidays, illness, and/or family vacation times.
• Fees are charged for Statutory Holidays/Holidays/Sick Days/Absences.
• Financial Support Options: You may be eligible for WINZ subsidies or assistance through the Working for Families initiative. There is helpful information on whether you might qualify on the Working for Families Childcare Assistance website.
• Participation in outside activities brought into the centre may be charged. Trips organised outside of the centre may be charged as additional costs.
• All children enrolled at licensed services receive partial funding from the Ministry of Education for a maximum of 6 hours per day. If your child's attendance drops below a certain level (for example, absent for longer than 3 weeks or showing a pattern of frequent absences against their enrolled booking timetable), government funding will cease. In this scenario, Arawa Street ELC reserves the right to charge full fees.

• Families must stick to their booked hours as late payment fees will apply if children are collected after their booking times.
• If you would like to extend your booking hours, we are happy to help. Additional time is charged at $7.00 per hour or $3.75 for 30 minutes.
• This fee schedule is inclusive of all food - morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
